... Hilary is the youngest daughter of Tom ("Mick") Micallef, a 2007 inductee into of the Michigan Track Coaches Hall of Fame and the coach of six Ypsilanti hurdlers who were state champions.
...Hilary has been a volunteer for YoungLife, a church youth group that has done volunteer work in North Carolina.
...Hilary's older sister Maryclaire, who now attends the University of Michigan, is a former captain of the Saline track team who went from running a 6:05 in the 1,600 during her junior year to 5:41 as a senior
...Hilary has been competing in the hurdles for two years.
